Goodbye genetics and parasitology

We are done with our first two classes. In parasitology, we both made A's and D has a B in genetics and I have an A. We are very excited because 2nd term seems to be starting out much better than 1st term. Not really that the material is easier, but our studying methods have really improved.

So when it finally quit raining on Tuesday after the exam, D and I took Shiloh to a new beach. Well I am sure the beach has been there for a long time, but we had never been there, so new. We had the best time. It is a really small beach and kinda out of the way, which means there was no one there.
This is my favorite photo, she is a Baywatch dog

I don't hate people, but is was so nice to let Shiloh run around free without worrying about her barking at people, or anything. She had the best time. She swam and dug for crabs. There are these little sand crabs, and I am not sure if she can hear them or smell them, but she goes to digging like crazy.

She has caught a few, but they pinch her and she does not care for that. It is really funny, like a show down. Dog vs little sand crab, little sand crab wins! The sand on this beach was amazing. My feet just sunk into it, and it was really soft, and black. I thought black volcanic sand would be rough, but this was the softest sand I have ever felt. Around this little beach were these huge rock walls and the rough waves just crash on them spectacularly.

So, we are two classes down and only four more to go. We have three right now, neuroscience, pathology, and community health. Community health is a short course and will end in a month, and after that test then immunology will start. So we will have only three classes at a time for the rest of the semester. Speaking of classes, I had better get back to studying. Here is a short video I took at the beach.

  2. It is great, we are going to try to make it there once a week so that Shiloh can play and we can take a break.
