Term 2 started today, and it has been such a great summer, I was not ready to start back. However, it has been great seeing everyone today, and talking about our summers. Also, very rewarding to see all the new Term 1 students wondering around campus with a lost look on their face. Not that I am happy they are lost, I am just happy I am finished with that first semester! One exciting thing that happened this summer is D and I purchased a vehicle! We are so thrilled with it, I am honestly happier and more appreciative then I was when I was 16 and got my first vehicle.
So, this is it! A 1996 Suzuki Escudo, which is called a sidekick in the states.
Notice the nicely tinted window, for that shade from the sun kinda feeling. Also, the air conditioning works!! As does the 4-wheel drive, yes, we have tested that already. It is amazing how much easier going to get groceries is when you can drive and put things in the trunk. We do not have to consider how much the groceries weigh, and only get so many heavy things at one time. I feel so spoiled already! So, as for classes. The first 2 weeks are parasitology and genetics. So then Aug 23 we will have our parasitology final, and Aug 24 our genetics final. These classes are both 1 credit each. Then on Aug 25th we start the rest of our classes. Neuroanatomy, immunology, physiology, and community health. So it is kinda nice to be able to start out with only two classes to focus on, however we cannot get behind, because there is only one test for each class and it is in 2 weeks. I am also quite excited about my new color pens, I am doing my notes using all 7 colors. D and Shiloh got there summer haircuts, and both are much cooler now. I will NOT be getting a haircut because we all know how that turned out last time.
Shiloh is very intensely watch a seagull. She has not figured out yet that she cannot catch them. Back to parasitology, and my new colored pens.
P.S. Happy B-Day W
and E & J (D's mom and dad)
